Plain English: The Celestos software runs on your machine. Your AI conversations, Orb sessions, memory, and files never reach us — we have no server that sees them. The only thing we collect is your email if you sign up for early access, and standard anonymous web analytics if enabled. That's it.
Celestos processes everything on your own hardware. This is not a marketing claim — it is how the software is built:
Third-party providers you connect yourself: If you choose to route requests through an external AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, or others), your data goes to that provider under their privacy policy. We do not control or have access to what those providers receive or store. Using only local models means nothing leaves your device at all.
The celestos.online website is separate from the software. Here is what we collect and why:

We will not sell your email, share it with third parties for marketing, or send you unrelated promotions. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email we send.
This website may use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages are most useful. If we use analytics, no personally identifiable information is included, and data is not shared with advertising networks. We do not use tracking cookies or cross-site fingerprinting.
We retain early access sign-up data for as long as the early access programme is active or until you ask us to delete it. If you ask us to remove your data, we will do so within 30 days.

Celestos is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify early access members by email.
